IWG milestone: more than 100 new IWG centres opened between February and September 2020

IWG, the world’s biggest workspace-provider opened 104 new properties between February and September 2020, across its nine distinct brands in Europe, North America and Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. 

There were eight new openings by IWG in September alone, including two Regus sites, five Spaces offices, and one Signature by Regus space, providing a wealth of options in terms of both location and business offering.

In North Carolina, Spaces Magnum Street, Durham, USA is part of a landscape-changing new development at the heart of Durham city centre, Presenting a mainline into the business world of North Carolina and beyond, this This is a workspace for creative professionals, dynamic corporate players and graduating entrepreneurs from nearby Duke University. Set over three floors, there are 533 workstations and access to nearly 200 parking spaces.

Meanwhile, in South America, there are now 43 more workstations available at Regus Alameda Santos in Sao Paolo, the striking business centre that occupies six floors of the Victoria Plaza building at Alameda Santos. Just 30 metres from Paulista – one of the most prestigious avenues in São Paulo – the business district of Paraíso is right the your doorstep, with services, education, government, banks and consulates all well represented.

Europe has also seen steady growth. In Geneva, Switzerland, Signature 5 Quartiers des Banques, is a cosmopolitan members’ club located in the heart of the city’s culturally rich Hollande district. This characterful, century-old building includes a range of beautifully designed workspaces, with six floors, 382 workstations and five meeting rooms.

Neighbouring Italy has seen the opening of Spaces Eur Arte, Rome, Italy the heart of EUR, the city’s business district. Here, there’s a fully equipped, flexible space to suit any business across the building’s eight floors. There are six meeting rooms and 750 workstations, plus a buzzing community of like-minded professionals.

Over in the Netherlands, Spaces Eindhoven is a welcome addition to the Spaces family. With 400 workstations and four meeting rooms across four floors, it’s located right at the heart of this vibrant arena, with notable neighbours including KPMG and ING.

Further centre openings have also taken place in September in Krakow, Poland, with Spaces Fabryka Kart, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Spaces Platinum Sentral, and in Madrid, Spain with Regus Palacio de Miraflores.
