IWG romps home with a clutch of wins in the Philippines Best Employer Brands Awards and the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards this summer
It's awards season in the Philippines and the group company IWG, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, proudly received both the Best Employer Brands 2019 and the Dream Companies to Work For awards in recognition of the exemplary leadership of its brands, Regus and Spaces.
“It's a great honour to be recognised with these remarkable accolades from the Philippines Best Employer Brands Awards,” says Lars Wittig, IWG vice president of sales, ASEAN, Taiwan and South Korea. “We're pleased our efforts in redefining the modern work style are now getting the awareness and validation locally that they've achieved globally.”
The annual Philippines Best Employer Brands Awards are organised by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress, Stars of the Industry Group and partner CHRO Asia, and were established to identify and recognise successful and leading employers in the country.
Receiving these awards is a testament to Regus and Spaces’ use of best practices in employer branding and their contributions to talent management, development and innovation in developing vital human resources in the Philippines.
Since establishing a firm presence in the country in 1999, Regus has continued to be a reliable provider of versatile office formats catering for every type of business, from individuals to small enterprises and corporations. The Regus network of workspaces enables businesses to operate anywhere, without the need for set-up costs or capital investment. Regus’s recent announcement of offering a franchising opportunity in the Philippines signifies the continuous demand for good flexible space providers across the country.
In addition to this, IWG’s Spaces World Plaza was named the Best Co-Working Space in the Philippines in the 2019 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, in recognition of the outstanding design of the business centre. Renowned for its gold standard for excellence in the Philippines real-estate arena, the awards acknowledge and reward the extraordinary achievements of developers and their projects at a domestic and regional level. “It's a great privilege to be recognised among the best names in the country’s real-estate industry,” says Lars Wittig.
Since launching its first centre in Amsterdam in 2006, Spaces’ signature Scandinavian-inspired design and the latest business technology attracts a mix of entrepreneurs, SMEs and local communities. “Spaces World Plaza is uniquely designed to provide flexible workspaces for companies of all sizes,” adds Wittig. “We have dedicated desks – perfect for those who need their own desk for one computer – plus shared offices fully tailored to our tenants’ needs.
Situated at the heart of Manila’s business hub, Spaces is on the top floor of the World Plaza Building on Fifth Avenue and has views over Bonifacio Global City. The 3,200-square-metre flexspace has 477 individual workstations, meeting pods, private rooms and phone booths. It also has an in-house deli-style café that’s famous for its artisan coffee and pastries.
